MYTH: Pianos only need to be tuned when they are played a lot - really tuning is best done seasonally (humid summer and dry winter can change piano pitch more than hard playing can).
1. After years of use, all pianos need physical adjustments (beyond tuning) to play their best.
2. A piano never tuned is a 600 pound doorstop or a knickknack shelf.
3. Buy the best piano you can afford - no student will excel playing junk.
4. The best piano is not always the most expensive / the best piano service is not always the most expensive.
5. Without music, life would be a mistake.
6. Playing piano brings you into the dance and poetry of life.
7. Problem piano? Find a tuner-tech who knows how to repair and rebuild many makes - new and old.
8. A pretty case is not always a good instrument - call a tuner-tech for an appraisal.
